The purpose of this study is to explore operational strategies for sustainable
convention and exhibition destination management in terms of CSV (Creating Shared
Value). The study revealed sustainable destination management paradigm in
convention and exhibition industry, which is formed by creating shared value
phenomena. This study also sugested management guidelines aplied to operational
strategies in the convention and exhibition destinations. Operational strategies reflect
thre pilars: recognition of product and market, re-conceptualization of sustainabilty,
and establishment of clusters. The study implied significant progres in converging
CSV and sustainablity in the convention and exhibition industry
