초록

This study aims to present implications for activation of youth tourism in Korea through the study on significance and satisfaction of tourist attraction selection property. To achieve the purpose of study, online self-administrative survey was carried out to tourists of ‘Rail-Ro’, which is the representative good of domestic sightseeing for the youth operated by Korean Railroad Corporation. The results were derived from analyzing a total of 398 data using the paired-sample t-test and IPA. The findings showed that ‘transportation and traffic facilities in tourist attraction’, ‘accessibility to the surround tourist attractions’, ‘accommodation expenses’, ‘food and beverage expenses’, and ‘transportation expenses’ were needed for improving urgently for activating of youth tourism. This study is meaningful in that it presents practical implications about domestic sightseeing of the twenties who are participants in the future tourism market.
