초록 : The study started from lack of human resources in MICE industry. MICE industry has a great potential to solve youth unemployment issue with high employment inducement effect. However, many MICE companies are suffering from the lack of qualified employees. This problem is mainly caused by miss-matching between employers and job seekers. We found that ‘Work Values’ could be the key to solve these problem. In this context, this study aim to reveal the effect of Work Values on Job Esteem, Career-Decision Self-Efficacy and Employment Preparation Behavior. As the results of the analysis, job seekers were segmented to three groups by work values; Low Work Value Perceived Group, Moderate Work Value Perceived Group and Highly Work Value Perceived Group. Based on the result, the study verified differences of Job Esteem, Career-Decision Self-Efficacy and Employment Preparation Behavior among three segmented groups. This study has its own academic value through broadening the research area for MICE industry and suggesting the value of Work Values in academia and industry. Also, it would be possible to find the way to refill the qualified employees and give a guidance for the job applicants who want to enter the MICE field. Also, this study could provide the implication to contribute on development of MICE industry and solution of youth unemployment issue.
